As ,b>the sales training leader for Welch Allyn, you will ensure the US / Canada sales organization is prepared to sell medical products, systems, software and services in a manner maximizing profitable sales and brand recognition in all of our targeted markets Reporting to the Director Sales Operations your expertise at using training as a change management tool will be critical to successful transformation of sales and businesses process and support introduction of advanced technologies and exciting new products. Key Responsibilities:
Initial objectives will include a complete assessment of our current sales and marketing training curriculum, implementing appropriate changes to prepare sales teams to sell evolving platform technologies along with other product and brand strategies. This effort collaborate with key stakeholders to map a sales training strategy and road map encompassing product training, selling skills, internal business processes, as well as new hire and current sales representative training. Your ability to define and recommend innovative training solutions to address changes to markets, selling processes, products, health care delivery and other changes affecting the selling process will also drive significant change management. Leading education, training and mentoring efforts for sales, marketing, and distributors, you will create and deliver training in sales processes, selling techniques (e.g. including team selling, consultative selling, etc.) and skills that optimize selling of current and future products and technologies. With a down to earth, hands on style, and a practical and pragmatic approach, you will build and implement meaningful, actionable, and sustainable sales training plans that factor flexibility, structure, systems, process and culture with supporting design and strategy
Required Background:
A Bachelors in Instructional Design, Organizational Development, Organizational Psychology, or related field is required (Master's is a plus). Demonstrated training success for a field organization, experience with blended learning approaches and needs assessment, curriculum development, training design, structure and process, measurement systems, culture alignment, and change management is required to advance competency for an organization with robust, sophisticated, and evolving product lines and a high energy sales organization.
