Do you have a strong desire to help people? Join the Providence Kodiak Island Medical Center, a 25-bed acute care hospital located in breathtaking Kodiak, Alaska, which is currently seeking an on-call, rotating/variable shift Certified Nurse Assistant!

This position participates in patient care by assisting patients and residents with ADLs, hygiene, and performing simple treatment/bedside care.

Requirements for the position are:

Successful completion of a state-approved nursing assistant course Must hold a current State of Alaska CNA certification - New CNA graduates and candidates that hold a current, unencumbered nurse assistant certification or registration from another U.S. state must obtain the State of Alaska certification within four (4) months of employment Current BLS certification or the ability to obtain within 90 days of hire Must be able to read, write and speak English Preference will be given to those candidates that have two or more years of prior custodial nursing care.

This position will include a 3% geographical differential.
