Job Description:

The selected candidate will research and analyze transactions; evaluate and document results; recommend corrective actions; prepare deliverables for client review and processing; and perform additional duties as assigned. Tasks are to be performed in a timely manner with minimal revisions. Completed work will be documented on bi-monthly and monthly progress reports.

Federal Financial Analyst Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of finance/accounting experience with excellent analytical skills and a good work ethic
• Responsibility to perform accounting tasks for a federal government agency
• General knowledge of federal government operations and experience performing reconciliations (highly desirable)

Candidates Must:

• Be able to demonstrate knowledge and experience in federal government accounting, preferably within the DoD
• Have the ability to assess and document transactions through agency accounting systems
• Be able to write/summarize results and prepare deliverable packages
• Have good oral and written communication skills (required)
• Have a BA/BS degree in Accounting (preferred, but not required)
• Competence with MS Excel and Word (required)
• Experience with Access is beneficial

This position pays 45000.00-60000.00 annually
