Analytical Chemist

An exciting opportunity exists for a mid-level chemist to join a well established international law firm. The Analytical Chemist will assist attorneys and other staff scientists in servicing a broad range of companies that make products for use with food, drugs, and medical devices. The opportunity available is strictly in the food division. This position requires a creative approach to analytical chemistry problems and a working knowledge of statistics and organic, polymer, paper, and analytical chemistry. This company offers a family-oriented culture with excellent compensation package and bonus potential.

All candidates MUST have the following experiences to qualify for consideration:

  • DO NOT APPLY unless you have over 8 years experience in plastics, chemicals, or packaging industries in the food sector.
  • Masters Degree in Analytical Organic Chemistry is required, PHd highly preferred.
  • Candidates must possess a working knowledge of statistics and organic, polymer, paper, and analytical chemistry.
  • Prior experience with government health and safety regulations (particularly FDA and EPA) is required.
  • The right candidate will possess previous experience in polymer chemistry.
  • Candidates with experience primarily in the medical device or drug industries are NOT the right fit for this position.
