DESCRIPTION:

  • Supervise the day-to-day operation of a highly automated, computer-controlled catalyst testing system comprising over 100 bench-scale reactors
  • Directly responsible for programming and maintaining control and data acquisition software and hardware.
  • Supervises a small staff of laboratory technicians

REQUIREMENTS:

  • BS degree, preferably in chemical engineering
  • A minimum of 2-3 years experience in a process industry operations or research environment
  • Demonstrated computer programming skills, preferably in a process environment.
  • Proficiency in LabView a major plus.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the principles of flow systems equipment and electronic instrumentation used for measurement and control
  • Interpersonal skills suitable for supervising a small staff of technicians
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
