SENIOR CM SOFTWARE ENGINEERRESPONSIBILITIES: - At a high level, the scope of work includes to define, maintain, and implement Configuration Management tools, policies and procedures in coordination with other engineering teams. - As part of configuration management team, you will managing on-going requirements from various development group as well as developing tools for automating those tasks. - You will also be working on improving processes & policies within configuration management group, which is responsible for providing infra-structure & CM support for whole company. REQUIREMENTS: Ideal candidate should have bachelor's or higher degree in related streams and 4-5 years of working experience with a mix of following activities: - Must have working experience or keen interest in software configuration management, with strong analytical and problem solving skills - Must be well versed with SCM basic concepts, including branching models, code merging, builds and parallel development - Must be fluent with one of the SCM software, preferably Perforce. - Must be very familiar with build process, Makefiles, build automation & scripting, debugging the code, and merging changes from multiple branches. - Must have some scripting language experience (preferably Perl), as well as some cross-platform experience. - Should have good working knowledge of at least 3 (or more) of following: C/C++, VB, C#, ASP, VB.NET, Web Development, XML, SQLServer - Should be comfortable working on Microsoft Windows platform, and familiarity with Unix. - Ability to work effectively with team members who are remote. Strong communication and presentation skills. Ability to share information and communicate clearly with other team members.
