ACS Healthcare Solutions (www.acs-hcs.com), has nationwide opportunities for healthcare information system professionals who possess technical, application, and project management experience with GE Centricity Enterprise applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on design, build, implementation and upgrade experience of one or more of the following GE Centricity Enterprise (IDX Lastword, Carecast) applications: Orders, Results, Pharmacy, Radiology (Imagecast), Care Documentation, ED, CPOE, Clinical Decision Support, Expert Rules, Scheduling, Registration/Admitting, Charging, Billing.
- Project Management experience a plus.
- Strong knowledge of workflow in an acute-care and/or ambulatory setting.
- Experience with Requirements Definition, System Testing, Training and Activation/Go-Live Support a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal (verbal and written) and organizational skills.
- Strong customer service focus to build and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Ability to work independently or on a project team.
- Ability to work effectively with non-technical and technical staff and vendors.
- Experience with MS office software, and Microsoft operating environments
- Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
- Clinical experience: Nursing, Radiology, Laboratory or Pharmacy a plus.
- Up to 80% travel is required for this position, but relocation is not.
