PRIMARY PURPOSE:
Under the general supervision of the Department Manager, this position is responsible for guiding cancer patients through the medical system by assisting with access issues, providing clinical education and guidance, coordinating supportive care and ancillary services, and tracking interventions and outcomes.
Education:
Minimum of BA or BS degree. Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred. Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of California required.
Experience:
5 years experience working with patients in a medical environment required. Specific knowledge and experience working at CPMC preferred.
Knowledge:
Maintains knowledge of current clinical practices in Oncology
