Position Information:
Job Title: Associate Scientist
Location: Emeryville, CA
Duration: Indefinite
Compensation: Open $/hour

Job description:

We are looking for someone to perform validation and revalidation studies, evaluates and analyzes validation data, and coordinates equipment or system validation activities within QC. Prepares equipment validation protocols and reports in time to support forecasted product release. Executes equipment validations/revalidation's and assembles final packages.

Schedule and perform equipment validation and revalidation studies to meet QC requirements.

Evaluate and analyze validation data collected during validation, verify adequacy of the data and compliance with regulations.

Responsible for preparation, programming, maintaining, and use of data acquisition systems used for validation of QC equipment or system.

Maintains clear, detailed records of validation activities.

Schedules validation runs to meet QC and revalidation requirements as needed. Assists in revising Bayer Validation Procedures.

Assists in training of new validation engineer(s).

Assists in maintaining QC Equipment Inventory Database (QC-EIS).

Supports QC personnel during inspections or audits conducted by internal groups or regulatory agencies.

Executes equipment or system validation/revalidation , e.g. Controlled temperature environment, cold room, walk-in incubator, Biosafety cabinet/hood, steam sterilizer, dry heat oven isolator, and others.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate must possess GMP exp, able to write protocols and final reports, data entry experience, candidates with TRACKWISE database experience will be selected first, QC labatory experience a must, Assay experience is a must.
