Medical assisting is for those who have been trained as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), who enjoy working with people, and who want to provide extraordinary patient care by supporting Intermountain Healthcare's approach to "Healing for Life."
This position is an opportunity for a satisfying career in the medical field, it allows you to assist patients in making sure they are comfortable and that their needs and expectations are met. Working in a clinic setting requires performing a variety of patient care tasks including preparation of patients to be seen by physicians, performance of diagnostic tests and appropriate documentation. This position requires the successful completion of an accredited medical assisting program making candidate a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or MA Certification eligible. A current "Health Care Provider" or "Professional Rescuer" CPR certification is required upon hire. Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Experience with electronic medical records and clinic settings preferred. Previous medical assistant experience preferred. Previous experience in OB/GYN strongly preferred.
