| Job Description: | | | Cash Application Analyst is responsible for maintaining cash entries/allocations for all lines of business within shared services. Upload daily cash receipts into E1 system Perform daily cash application/allocation entries Run various cash reports out of E1 with extracts to excel Prepare and distribute daily cash spreadsheets/reports to various internal users Communicate check discrepancies (short/over payments) to collection analysts Review and input all cash adjustments into E1 (including offsets, write offs, refunds) Reconcile and maintain various pre-paid accounts Review, monitor and actively assist in reducing unapplied cash Maintain department's cash files and folders Obtain documentation for SOX testing Prepare various excel reports (including- checks expected, cash register, etc.) Work within a team environment to achieve a common goal Work closely with various groups within MTVN, playing an active role during month end close | | Required Qualification/Skills: | | | Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business with 0-2 years of experience. Must be proficient in Excel & Word Must be detail oriented with strong analytical skills Must have excellent organizational skills Strong interpersonal skills Must be a team player, and possess a strong work ethic Must have the ability to multitask, prioritize and meet aggressive deadlines | | Desired Qualification/Skills: | | |
