PATIENT SERVICES REPRESENTATIVE Perform a variety of clerical duties related to the efficient and service oriented operation of a busy medical practice. Duties include but are not limited to greeting patients, check-in and check-out, verify insurance and demographic information, collect co-pays and schedule follow-up appointments. Successful candidates should demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft office products, computer applications/programs and basic mathematical skills. Candidates should demonstrate delivering successful customer service, comfortably dealing with and discussing money/payment, handle multiple priorities simultaneously, managing difficult customers respectfully and without confrontation. Experience in a medical office or hospital and with computer-based scheduling preferred. Medical coding experience extremely helpful.
