Co-op - 200115 - Marlborough, MA - 0100

Description

We are currently seeking a Co-op in our Endoscopy R&D Advanced Stenting group to assist with the evaluation of product design changes and line extensions on a Nitinol-based self-expanding metal stent implant product line. Additional work may include prototyping and evaluation of next-generation designs of one or more stent implant products. This position is located in our Marlborough, MA facility.

Position requirements:
• Experience operating various lab testing and measuring equipment, including Instrons, optical microscopes, etc is desired
• Experience with basic chemical laboratory equipment and procedures (balances, pH meters, familiarity w/ general lab & solvent safety, etc.) is desired, or ability to learn
• Ability to follow written protocols & recognize unexpected deviations
• Ability to scrutinize draft test methods and optimize to reduce variability, or ability to learn
• Ability to critically review and write technical reports based on lab data and observations
• Demonstrated proficient communication skills (written & oral)
• Hands-on with an inventive/technical personality
• Strong problem solver
