Patient Care Supervisor – Emergency Room

Fairview Southdale Hospital has a full time opening for a nursing professional to assist the Manager and Director with Emergency department operations. Responsibilities include supervision of personnel, including but not limited to, hiring, discipline and performance evaluations. This Patient Care Supervisor will be responsible for projects as delegated including a focus on meeting the needs of our customers, collaboration with nursing and physician leadership to implement and evaluate standards of practice, utilization of process improvement methodologies to insure safe and quality patient care, and assistance with staff education. Will also be a role model for patient care and customer service, working closely with our physician partners.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of recent emergency department experience.
• Demonstrated leadership, collaboration, and communication skills.
• Current Minnesota Registered Nurse licensure.
• BSN or candidate may be currently enrolled in a program to complete their BSN.
• Recent supervisory experience is required.
