Registered Nurse: Shield Healthcare

Shield Healthcare has an excellent opportunity for a Registered Nurse to work in our marketing department. This position is located in our Valencia , CA corporate offices. This is an ideal opportunity for the RN who is looking for a stable M-F position with 8-hour days.

This position will be responsible to:

• Provide clinical support for various product lines and services while ensuring revenue growth and profitability
• Understand and apply appropriate interview/assessment techniques
• Communicate with physicians or referral sources on clinical customer needs
• Respond to customer "Ask-A-Nurse" phone messages and emails in a timely manner
• Conduct company training on SHC's various products and clinical services
• Function as a competent professional clinical authority and provide professional support to the Sales Department
• Provide information to customers and referral sources pertaining to Shield product lines
• Create needed educational and customer support tools as needed
• Work in conjunction with Sales and Marketing to increase revenue and profitability
• Utilize clinical nursing expertise to ensure customer profitability through formulary product selection
• Analyze customer data to determine potential customer conversions as required
• Participate in health fairs and other community events when needed

Requirements for the position include:

• Licensed RN with 2-5 years experience in nursing
• Preferred background in wound, ostomy and/or incontinence
• Strong personal computer skills in MS Word/Excel/Power Point
• Ability to forge relationships and partnerships with customers, referral sources, vendors and company personnel
• Excellent written and verbal communication skill
• Superior presentation skills
• Knowledge of the Home Health business including referral sources and reimbursement would be preferred, but not required
• Ability to handle a variety of assignments
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred, but not required
