Current Need
A highly organized, self motivated and creative individual to coordinate and manage projects related to regulatory requirements for electronic transactions in the EDI healthcare industry.
Position Description
This position is responsible for project coordination of payor implementation and conversions activities in our clearinghouse. Immediate projects include the industry conversion from ANSI X12 4010A1 to 5010 by January 2012 and any number of smaller projects such as developing state reporting requirements, claims status process development, and claims attachments processes.
Additional Knowledge & Skills
Various Microsoft desktop application knowledge is strongly preferred. Must be able to manage multiple projects effectively, coordinate activities across departments and create effective project plans for implementation while meeting specified deadlines. Must be very detail oriented. Healthcare/EDI background is strongly desired.
Minimum Requirements
2+ years experience in project management.
General understanding of healthcare insurance claims processing, payments, claims status, and member eligibility inquiry. The candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills and be highly organized and self motivated.
Education
4-year degree in related field or equivalent experience
