Position Information:

Job Title: QA Technician

Location: Wilsonville, OR

Duration: 8 months

Pay Rate: $16.00/hr

Job description:

· We are looking for someone who will participate in all aspects of quality inspection and testing concerning incoming material and design verification/validation activities.

· Support implementation of a quality system compliant with ISO/FDA requirements

· Perform laboratory technician duties to support the total operation of the QA lab, interact with personnel at all levels to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.

· Perform inspection of incoming materials (evaluation of components to ensure compliance to specifications, document inspection results, communicate/resolve discrepancies).

· Prepare samples for various testing.

· Perform verification and validation testing based on established test protocols.

· Record data, document and communicate results.

Requirements:

· The ideal candidate must be familiar with measurement techniques in the following areas:

· Basic dimensional inspection using caliper, micrometer, dial indicator, depth gage, pin gages and gage blocks.

· Coordinate measuring machine (optical).

· Optical devices (digital imaging, microscopy).

· Force measurement gages.

· Material testing machines (physical properties – tensile strength, elongation, fatigue).

· Basic electrical testing (resistance, capacitance).

· MS Office (Word, Excel and Access).

· Good hand-eye coordination.

· Good visual judgment, Attention to details.

· Ability to follow instructions/procedures and perform independently within a regulated work environment.

· Ability to learn and understand new methods and techniques as applied through the product development process.

U.S. Citizenship is required.
