FHA loans are the key to a loan officer’s success or failure in 2009 because they are one of the only remaining low down payment, easier credit and qualifying programs left. We have in-house processing; our underwriters and closers are FHA experts and we can close FHA loans in 10 to 15 days if need be. Because we are both a mortgage banker and a mortgage broker, our loan officers also have access to VA, CalHFA, CalSTRS, CalPERS, and reverse mortgages as well as the normal conforming and jumbo conventional loans.

Because of the uniqueness of our company and what we can offer a loan officer, we have a very defined profile of a loan officer we would hire:

· Must have a passion for the business

· Must be willing to step out of his/her comfort zone and try new things like doing FHA presentations

· Must strive for excellence in everything they do

· Must be highly motivated to build a 5 – 10 a month (minimum) loan volume and make a $100,000 a year income

· Must be willing to work on a commission-only basis

· Must have a highly developed sense of integrity, honesty and responsibility
