Clinical Pharmacy Supervisor

We currently have a full time opportunity for a Clinical Pharmacy Supervisor who is responsible for coordinating activities to provide pharmaceutical care for patients. Responsibilities also include:

Coordinates, promotes and evaluates the activities of professional personnel providing pharmaceutical care.

Provides reports to the Pharmacy and Therapeutics (P&T) Committee and participates in related subcommittees as required.

Provides pharmacotherapy education to health care professionals.

Participates in continuous quality improvement activities to improve pharmaceutical care for patients.
Qualified candidates will possess:

Graduate of a college of pharmacy accredited by the American Council on Pharmaceutical Education (ACPE) leading to a BS Degree required

Pharm D or Master's degree in Clinical Pharmacy, residency/fellowship or equivalent preferred
-
Experience in the direction and development of purchasing, inventory control, formulary development and budgetary control programs required

Minimum of 3 years of clinical and supervisory experience with progressively increasing responsibility required

Current Nevada license to practice pharmacy or eligibility required
