Lincoln Memorial University invites applications for the position of Dean, Hamilton School of Arts and Sciences. The Dean, Hamilton School of Arts and Sciences shall be the administrative head of the designated school and will be responsible for growth and development of school programs, positive leadership of faculty and effective operations of all aspects within the school. The Dean shall coordinate the work of the school and interpret such work to the Vice President for Academic Affairs and to the university at large and interpret the plans and decisions of administration to school and university faculty, staff and students. Depending on teaching qualifications, the Dean could have a dual appointment as faculty in the Debusk School of Osteopathic Medicine as well as the Hamilton School of Arts and Sciences. Required qualifications: Earned doctorate in the sciences or other field appropriate for the School of Arts and Sciences; successful teaching experience in higher education, record of successful experience in higher education administration and record of procuring external funding and conducting academic research. Preferred qualifications: Experience in private higher education. Experience in supervision of sponsored research projects.
