Dishwasher/Utility



Wesley Willows Corporation, a premier continuing care retirement community in Rockford, IL has a full-time Dishwasher/Utility opening.

Responsibilities Include:

1. Maintains a friendly, efficient, respectable attitude towards customers, co-workers, residents and visitors.

2. Cleans all equipment and surfaces according to departmental procedures and schedules.

3. Prepares dish room and dish machine prior to use. Loads and unloads machine following established procedures.

4. Logs dish machine temperatures. Ensures dish machine temperatures are in compliance with standards and notifies supervisor of any deviations.

5. Thoroughly scraps, soaks, washes and sanitizes pots and pans.

6. Transports supplies and equipment between storage areas and work areas through use of carts.

7. Sorts and removes trash, placing it in designated pickup areas.

8. Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition.

9. Adheres to all departmental safety and sanitation procedures. Complies with all OSHA regulations and other local, state, and federal regulations to provide for a safe environment.

10. Performs all other related duties as required.

11. Ensures that all residents, co-workers, and visitors are treated fairly, with kindness, dignity, and respect.

Work Schedule:

Full-Time, 12:30PM to 9:00PM

Rotating weekends and holidays.

Qualifications:

  1. High school graduate or equivalent. Ability to apply elementary math calculations.
  2. Ability to understand and follow direction and requests for assistance.
  3. Ability to work cooperatively in a kitchen environment.
  4. Must be 18 years of age or older to operate potentially hazardous equipment.
