Southeast Regional Sales Director
SKILLS - At least 5
years prior digital media/internet sales experience.
- 5-10 years total work
experience.
- Has worked at
leading top 75 Internet web properties.
- Ideal candidate worked previously at a
leading Ad Network from early stage to scale. Previous experience working at an
Agency in a media planning role is a plus.
- Has previous
experience being a player/coach for a small team (1-3 individual account
executives)
- Must have a
deep understanding of their local market with strong client and agency
relationships (Media Directors/Media Supervisors).
- Prior
experience building a territory from scratch.
- Consistently
has exceeded all sales quotas at the individual contributor and player/coach
level.
- Must have a
deep understanding of the ad network space (types of advertisers that work,
success campaign metrics, effective negotiation skills).
- BA/BS
Required.
AREA OF RESPONSIBILITIES
- Proactively
Prospect, Qualify, Grow, and Maintain a regional territory account list by
regionally calling on top 50 digital media buying agencies and evaliant top 500
internet media ad spenders.
- Hit target revenue
quota. 2010 range over $2.25 million dollars selling digital media (run of
network, retargeting, sponsorships, rich media, behavioral targeting,
category/endemic, network specific.)
- Evangelize our client to key agency media directors/media supervisors and internet marketing
directors/managers. Ensure our client is added to all ad network RFP requests.
- Once success is
achieved at individual contributor level, built out territory with 1-2 account
executives (Player/Coach).
- Develop and
cultivate deep relationships with client and agency teams.
- Proactively manage
performance oriented accounts to drive incremental revenue.
- Identify,
understand and communicate trends within client markets and
industries.
- Proactively provide
smart client research and industry specific information.
- Update and create
sales proposals via Salesforce.com.
- Be an active member
in the Regional Digital Media Community.
