Since 1991, Bobs Discount Furniture has provided fashionable, affordable home furnishings and bedding to its New England neighbors. SALES ASSOCIATE

Bob’s Discount Furniture is looking for experienced and entry-level, full time and part time sales associates. Must be highly motivated and customer focused with a desire to be successful. The primary function of a sales associate is to guide customers through the sales process while representing Bob’s Discount Furniture and its products with honesty and integrity.

CANDIDATES FOR THIS POSITION MUST HAVE THE ABILITY TO WORK A RETAIL SCHEDULE WHICH INCLUDES WEEKENDS, HOLIDAYS, AND SOME EVENINGS

Key qualifications are:

• Demonstrated sales aptitude
• Ability to identify sales prospects, deliver sales presentations, close sales and handle necessary follow up
• Goal-oriented
• Mature and self confident with the ability to work under pressure
• Excellent communication and listening skills
• Strong interpersonal/customer service skills
• Proven analytical and problem solving skills
• Bilingual a plus but not required.
