This function will be part of the River Valley UnitedHealthcare Technology Solutions team. The person in this role will be responsible for the design, coding, testing, debugging, documentation, delivery and support of the Facets application.
Leads establishment of systems development protocols and / or selection of systems management approach involving major company investment.
Plan, organize and lead technical aspects of large scale projects to successful completion.
Considered a senior technical subject matter expert on FACETS.
Perform advisory role on complex projects where FACETS is involved, works at highest technical advisory level on the most difficult analysis and design assignments.
Performs related follow-up and work coordination activities, including reporting and metrics, with others on the technical team.
Manages an Application Team of 20 to 30 developers onshore and offshore
Qualification and will schedule, assign, direct, review, supervise and manage the technical team. Perform general management functions including participation in technical assessments, performance reviews, mentoring, hiring, and training.

3+ years knowledge and experience of FACETS 4.31 or greater required
3+ years equivalent experience managing or leading Applications Development and Support Teams.
2+ years experience with Transact SQL, Business Objects - Crystal Reports.
2+ years experience with Complex project management related to application development.
High volume, transaction processing background with claims, billing, EDI, Healthcare Insurance systems development experience - required
Knowledge of managed care including, but not limited to claims adjudication and payment, medical management, provider reimbursement, capitation, billing, enrollment, and benefits.
Experience using a software development life cycle (SDLC) methodology
Relevant Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
