Director of Clinical and Business Affairs for Ophthalmology: Montefiore Medical Center

We are currently seeking a Director of Clinical and Business Affairs for our Ophthalmology Department.

In this position, you will be responsible for managing and directing all administrative activities including planning and program development, finance, human resources, facilities management, marketing, fundraising and materials management. You will serve to integrate the department’s functions across hospital divisions and between Montefiore Medical Center, The Albert Einstein College of Medicine and other affiliated institutions.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement integrated internal/external marketing communications strategies. Work with external agencies, lead workgroups with clinical and administrative staff, internal project-related work teams and interface with other functional areas as required. Partner with operations and clinical leadership to identify approaches that will effectively promote the service line.

Qualified candidates will have Masters level training in Health Care Administration and/or related field along with 5 or more years of professional experience. Applicants must have strong organizational, project management, interpersonal and teamwork skills along with the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
