Clinical Pharmacy Specialist
Las Vegas

Part of Sunrise Health, Sunrise Hospital & Medical Center is Nevada ’s largest acute-care medical complex. With 701 beds and an array of advanced medical technologies, we offer healthcare professionals the chance to touch the lives of thousands of patients each year while expanding their skills and knowledge.

We currently have full time opportunities for Clinical Pharmacy Specialists to join our team . In this position, you'll compound and dispense medications using prescriptions authorized by a physician. You'll instruct patients on medication including potential drug interactions and review patient medication history for allergies and drug interactions.



Qualified candidates will possess:

  • Minimum of two years hospital or institutional experience desired
  • Must be a graduate of a college of pharmacy accredited by the American Council on Pharmaceutical Education (ACPE) with a Bachelor of Science or Doctorate degree in Pharmacy
  • Must have current Nevada license to practice pharmacy or eligibility
  • Excellent communication and diplomacy skills required
  • Demonstrate ability to master a specialty area such as surgery, intensive care, pediatrics, oncology, IV additives, computer systems or automated dispensing
