NORTH ADAMS
REGIONAL HOSPITAL

Medical Transcriptionist

- 40 hours per week, 2nd shift,
- Monday-Friday, 3-11:30
- Participates in on call list on a rotating basis to assure 24/7
coverage.
- Must work on-site for 6 months prior to being provided opportunity
to type from home.

Job Requirements include:
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology
- 1-2 years acute care hospital transcription experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability to transcribe a minimum of
15 minutes/hour (text transcription)
- Prefer experience with speech recognition editing and Dictaphone
dictation/transcription system.
