IIS Operational Technologies and Solutions (OTS), provides information management systems and operations support to a variety of government agencies and proprietary customers. As a provider of cutting-edge data management and information dissemination, OTS handles some of the largest databases for the government and intelligence communities. Core capabilities include analytical and field operations support, logistics and deployment, software development, electrical and mechanical engineering, and hardware manufacturing.
Job Description:
Technical Specialists provide close-access technical SIGINT collection in support of customer operations around the globe. As a member of a highly elite team of personnel you will be performing both ground and airborne SIGINT support to operations that have the highest impact to National Security. The customer requires carrying weapons for defensive purposes only in some locations. During air operations support other team members who are supporting ground operations. Ground operations require work with a very small team of highly skilled operators by providing them with critical intelligence information. Customer specific training is required and will be provided to insure successful deployments. Travel 50-70% of the year OCONUS for periods up to 90 days. Typical deployment is 45 to 60 days.
**Typical deployments are 45-60 days with maximum set at 90 days. Typical danger and hardship premiums are applicable.
**Position is contingent upon final approval by customer.
Required Skills:
-BS plus a minimum of 6 years experience or equivalent education and experience.
-Must have a background and extensive experience with GSM ground and Air SIGINT collection operations.
-Strong knowledge of SIGINT collection equipment.
-Minimum TS with CI polygraph with ability to obtain a TS/SCI with full lifestyle polygraph
-Must have either a military background or equivalent with service in a war zone or special operations training, such as SEALS, DELTA, Rangers, Green Berets, Marine Force Recon, Para rescue, SWAT and/or equivalent.
-Must be willing to travel 50-70% of the year OCONUS for periods up to 90 days.
-Must be qualified and willing to be armed by sponsor.
Desired Skills:
Background in tactical air or ground SIGINT, collection, analysis, training.
Background in SIGINT collection and geolocation.
Background in SIGINT equipment installation.
3 or more years in military special operations within past 5 years.
Demonstrated ability to work as part of a small team and build consensus.
Language skills in any of the following: Urdu, Pastu, Dari, Arabic
Security Clearance:
Minimum TS/SCI with CI polygraph, preferred TS/SCI with Full Scope/Lifestyle polygraph
Required Education (including Major):
BS in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Telecommunications or equivalent experience.
