Workout Negotiator I The Loss-Mitigation/AMPS department mitigates losses for the company by providing specialized servicing efforts on delinquent loans. The department is also focused on balancing the needs of the customer while, at the same time, complying with investor and insurer guidelines. Primary Responsibilities Include: · Assisting customers in maintaining their home by arranging alternative solutions, including loan-term modification, in order to deal with financial hardships · Finding solutions for customers who are encountering temporary financial-difficulties · Communicating regularly and effectively with customers who are delinquent on their mortgage loans in order to identify optimal work-out options · Negotiating work-outs with all involved parties (i.e. borrowers, investors, insurers, brokers, etc.) · Providing, according to federal guidelines, proper and timely response to customer correspondence A Successful Candidate Will Have: Must be bilingual in Spanish/English · High school diploma or GED · Excellent communicational, comprehension, listening and negotiating skills · Proficiency in Word and Excel · Excellent customer-relation skills · Knowledge of federal laws relating to financial privacy, fair lending, collections, bankruptcy, work-out, foreclosure, pay-offs and assumptions The Ideal Candidate May Also Possess: · Completion of college courses in Business, Finance or related field · Experience in mortgage banking or financial services · 1+ year(s) of high-volume collections or customer-service experience · Call-center experience · PC experience—with the ability to simultaneously access and navigate through several computer applications ![]() br> < |
