Blackstone Technology Group, a full service staffing and consulting company established in 1998, is currently conducting a search on behalf of our client for a full time Sage Intergy Financial Systems Analyst . This is a great opportunity with a well respected company in the medical field here in the Denver area.

Title: Sage Intergy Financial Systems Analyst (technical position)

Duration: Full Time

Location: Denver, CO

Start Date: ASAP

Summary: Finance/HR Application Support Analyst is primarily responsible for the application support for the Finance and HR departments. While the Analyst reports directly to the IT department, their activities will be focused 100% on Finance and HR.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide first and second tier application support to finance and HR.

Prepare statistical summaries and special reports from the Finance and HR systems to supply the data management support. Design, develop, test and runs recurring or special reports for statistical analyses or compliance reporting.

Provide support, guidance, training and assistance to human resources personnel, financial and other company users on relevant applications.

Continually monitor finance, human resource and payroll information needs. Assess, design, build, test, document and implement new requirements. Frequently test on-going functionality of applications. This includes enhancements and regulatory updates for the HR & Payroll System.

Working with end users, defines informational needs and sources and coordinate systems accordingly. Troubleshoot, resolve problems, and provides functional and technical assistance to end users.

Serve as liaison with IT staff in resolving programming and related problems or issues.

Assist in the testing of new releases ensuring system upgrades are compliant with HIPAA, Sarbanes Oxley and internal audit controls.

Ensure data integrity and effectiveness of system.

Maintain correct set up values for various foundation tables in Finance and HR applications to reflect changes to the organization.

Work with outside vendors ensuring electronic files meet vendor’s file specifications and process transactions accurately.

Ensure data feeds to internal systems and web pages are accurate and timely.

Support other Finance and HR systems ensuring on-going functionality meets organizational requirements during the process cycle and throughout the year.

Work with IT testing and implementing new functionality. Fields questions on system usage and functionality from all levels of the organization.

Provide system training as required. Prepare necessary reports as requested and needed.

Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills:

Ability to provide support and technical assistance to Finance and HR users.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously from inception through completion.

Ability to build consensus and manage expectations

Support finance and HR software programs at corporate and treatment center locations

Technical project planning, communication, and written documentation skills

Ability to work closely with other staff to ensure that network, security, and HIPAA concerns are documented and resolved.

Effectively communicate and coordinate with Finance and HRIS providers, outside vendors and various consultants.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None.

Job Qualifications:

Demonstrated proficiency with finance and HRIS applications (particularly Sage Intergy, MAS90 and ADP modules), SQL and Access databases, and report tools (Crystal Reports, FRx, Reportsmith, & Practice Analytics a plus).

Excellent analytical skills, including the ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; gather and analyze information skillfully; develop alternative solutions.

Excellent project management skills including the ability to develop project plans; coordinate projects; communicate changes and progress; complete projects on time and budget and manage project team activities. Competent to work on more complex projects/assignments independently.

Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with personnel at all levels within the organization, as well as outside vendors/contacts

Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with other management staff, employees, and outside contacts

Ability to prioritize work and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast paced, diverse and growth-oriented environment

Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality

Ability to work under tight deadlines

Ability to work flexible hours, as needed.

Education and/or Experience:

Minimum of five years of comprehensive working knowledge of finance and human resources workflow, processes and policies.

Bachelor degree or equivalent with appropriate systems coursework.

Good understanding of operating systems and database applications.

Project management experience.

Communications and Analysis Skills: Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, short correspondence and interpret documents such as financial and HR requirements, notes, procedure manuals and policies. Proficiency in using the MS Office suite of products, including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and MS Project is required. Ability to write and communicate effectively in both oral and written form with employees, physicians, and management staff of the organization is required. Ability to document complex processes and translate complicated procedures into individual steps is essential.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical theory. Ability to apply concept such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
