Primary duties: projects involving bacterial detoxification & viability testing, in vitro experiments with primary neuronal cell lines & neuronal like mammalian cell lines. Senior Research Scentist - JVIC Annual salary: $33,750. 12-months, 30 hrs per week. Primary duties: Identifying state & federal resources for biomedical device research & development; promoting JVIC sponsored research to funding agencies; & facilitate commercialization of JVIC related products. Junior Reserch Scientist - JVIC Annual salary: $34,000 Primary duties: cryosectioning & immunostaining of tissues; conducting experiments in invivo modeling systems; & analyzing data by use of fluorescent microscopy.
