FI, CO, PCA, SAP, ERP, SD, MM, PP, Finance background



The SAP ECC6 System is primarily used for Accounting, Controlling, Sales, Distribution, Material Planning , Inventory Management and Manufacturing Execution activities. Oracle Essbase and Clarity software are used for financial planning. This position is responsible for supporting the above systems and working closely with managers and end users across the organization to support business needs.

Major responsibilities will include providing timely and expert technical and functional support, analyzing and recommending alternatives and implementing improvements to business procedures and related technical systems . Developing, modifying and maintaining SAP configuration, coordinating changes with business team and providing a liason with the rest of IT, maintaining master data. Participating in system upgrades. Load data files into Essbase. Support planning and forecasting process within Essbase and Clarity. Candidate should be particularly skilled at understanding the relationships among multiple systems and business processes, both within and outside of the area of primary responsibility. He/she should educate system end users in the optimal use of systems. Execute change management for projects and system enhancements.

Qualification
• Must have knowledge of financial, controlling, planning, budgeting, accounting functions as well as basic understanding of other functional areas such as purchasing, sales, production functions in the manufacturing industry.
• Must have 1-2 years of experience in FI, CO, PCA, Assets and preferably other SAP functional modules (SD, MM, PP, etc.).
• Experience with Essbase and Clarity application is desirable. Training will be provided if needed.
• Must have finance background.
• Overall 5+ years of IT experience


Key Requirements
• Must be hands on.
• Must have attitude to learn new applications.
• Should be able to understand business requirements and translate them into system design parameters.
• Partner with business team members.
• Proactively suggest system changes for process improvements.
• Communicate effectively to business members.
• Must have excellent knowledge of ERP (SAP) system configuration and applications.
• Must be able to provide Tier 1 support for other SAP modules.
