Responsibilities:
Uses advanced statistical techniques and Ingenix data assets to provide specialized data analysis and reporting. Insures that the Custom Solutions team succeeds at the following:
- Organizes sorts and filters data in order to distinguish patterns and recognize trends.
- Develops and maintains data preparation and validation routines to support data quality assurance and has experience in creating custom reporting solutions.
- Selects, recommends and applies appropriate analytic and statistical methodologies and techniques to execute against an analysis plan or the client's objectives.
- Evaluates new analytics tools and methodologies for possible deployment.
- Creates data warehouses/marts and/or develops data mining analyses to support business decisions.

- 12+ years health care analysis experience and applied knowledge of quantitative data analysis methods in clinical analytics, managed care operations or other settings applying health care analytics
- Proficiency utilizing data reporting and extraction tools (e.g., SAS, Data Stage, Access, Visual Basic Access (VBA), Excel) and integrating operational processes
- Data management experience, including specific involvement with data base design, data marts, data extraction and data mining
- 8 years in a leadership role within the IT or health care analytics profession, evidenced by successful track record in leadership of programs, ability to deliver on initiatives
- Demonstrated knowledge of data technology (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, UDB)

Ability to translate complex concepts in ways that can be understood by a variety of audiences to establish rapport, persuade others and promote understanding and consensus building-Strong leadership abilities, including an assertive (yet diplomatic) personality, a great attitude and ability to handle change while managing people effectively through change
