Windows Mobile SW Engineer: Greenlight Professional Services & Technology Consultants

Our client seeks 4 Windows Mobile Embedded SW Engineers that can hit the
ground running. Should have good working knowledge of mobile phones.
Competence in RIL, Hopper debug, power management debug and setup,
Windows Mobile board support package (BSP) and device drivers. Will
accept solid Hopper and device driver experience in lieu of RIL.
Candidates must possess strong experience with Platform Builder
(development tool within WinCE) as well. Candidates must be able to
diagnose any problems & be experienced to fix them (debug). Individuals
will be focused on scope, design, development and verification device
specific software on embedded mobile devices in a dynamic and
fast-growing organization.

Requirements:
Candidates must have minimum 2 years of Windows Mobile board support
package (BSP) and device drivers
BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering and 2-5 years C/C++
software design
Software design experience on embedded Windows Mobile platforms
Operating system kernel design experience with real-time multiprocessor
systems
Excellent diagnostic skills and working knowledge of emulation and
debugging tools including Hopper
Experience with version control programs (CVS, Clearcase)
Effective communication skills and ability to identify, describe, and
resolve issues.
Multimedia applications and interfaces is preferred
Modem and Radio Interface Layer (RIL) development, power management
experience is preferred

Location: San Diego

Travel expenses, including airfare, rental car, lodging, meals, and
other miscellaneous expenses are paid if the engineer is coming from
outside of San Diego.
