Principle Accountabilities and Activities:

Product Management:

· Place orders for product, samples and Point of Sale (POS) items. Communicate with Red Bull North America (RBNA) to ensure on-time deliveries. Re-evaluate and alter orders in line with Lift Off Distribution’s (LOD) sales requirements and product availability as advised by Red Bull North America.

· Control and track all inventory via LOD’s proprietary Sales / Inventory Management system, BOB. Complete daily balance to ensure proper tracking of inventory in and out of warehouse against daily sales.

· Coordinate daily Load Out process with Division Sales Manager to ensure optimum loading of trucks.

· Work with Warehouse Operations Manager to implement warehouse/logistics strategies

· Control and keep account of all RBNA’s product samples and POS.

· Liaise with all suppliers to ensure on time delivery of product.

· Responsible for any inventory discrepancies as a result of inaccurate load and balance procedures.

· Track and reallocate to stock damaged or returned product

Personnel Management

· Supervise Load Out team and Checker to ensure security, efficiency and safety in the warehouse.

· Supervise Warehouse Assistant positions. Ensure that tools are available to train, develop and motivate subordinates.

· Manage all overtime of warehouse personnel. Responsible for tracking of warehouse personnel leave to include sick days, vacation days, and non-paid leave.

· Ensure that all Warehouse Safety Procedures are being followed. Maintain OSHA safety requirements.

Facilities Management

· Maintain cleanliness of warehouse and surrounding area.

· Coordinate delivery and collection of garbage removal.

· Schedule necessary repairs of facility as required. Maintain schedule of regular maintenance and warehouse upkeep.

All other duties as assigned.

Relationships

Reports directly to the Warehouse Operations Manager and indirectly to Divisional Sales Manager

• Must have a working and functional relationship with entire VA sales team.
• Is responsible for developing a strong working relationship with all managers throughout the organization.
• Must build and maintain a working relationship with RBNA and their carriers both on a local and regional level to ensure smooth processing of orders and shipments.

Communication

• Prepare and forward all necessary reports in a timely manner
• Must be open to dealing with requests from other depts.
• Must be open to dealing with requests from Red Bull personnel.
• Liaise with other departments as necessary to solve problems and coordinate necessary processes.
• Must be contactable during working hours by cell phone.

Compensation

This is a salaried position. The hours are of standard exempt position. This position is critical to the smooth and efficient functioning of the operation. The position requires the individual to make discretionary decisions that have an impact on the overall operations and P&L of the organization and as such any and all bonuses will be linked to the overall performance of the company.

Requirements:

• College Education preferred with High School diploma required.
• Minimum of 2-5 years experience in Warehouse/Distribution Management.
• Functional knowledge of standard Microsoft Office package.
• Solid understanding of Warehouse/Distribution best practices.
• Understanding of consumer packaged goods industry.
• Analytical skill, excellent verbal and written commuication skills.
