Provides exceptional customer service and presents an exceptional corporate image to all individuals who call the Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance Customer Service Center lines. Reports directly to the Customer Service Center Team Leader from whom overall direction is received. May receive direction from Manager, Customer Service.

Incumbent would work a 40 hour work week during the core hours of M-F 7:00am - 8:00pm and Sat 9:00am - 4:30pm. Required Skills Requires a High School diploma or GED equivalent. Requires exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Requires keyboarding skills of at least 25 wpm.

Requires the ability to speak clearly and distinctly over the telephone.

Requires the ability to take complete notes, use appropriate systems for research, and transfer calls to appropriate areas. Systems include, but may not be limited to, all legacy systems, Exceed, E-Solutions, and I3 Telephony systems.

Must have the visual and hearing capabilities to utilize computer and telephone systems for essential job functions.

Incumbent will be expected to become licensed to quote insurance rates and sell Auto policies to prospective insureds. This is a requirement for the incumbent to move out of a trainee status.

Experience Required

Prior office or call center representative experience preferred, but not required. Footer
