Description: ' Assist BDO leadership in developing strategy and the TAS organization ' Play a substantial role in development of best practice, policies, procedures and training for TAS ' Participate in identifying and actively targeting, in conjunction with business development and other members of the TAS team, relevant buyers of TAS services and contribute to thought leadership, public relations and other marketing initiatives related to the TS practice. ' Manage financial, accounting, and operational due diligence engagements for both strategic and financial buyers in the middle market and private equity community ' Manage and coordinate BDO cross-functional engagement teams throughout the transaction process ' Participate in efforts to recruit, develop, and retain BDO TAS professionals and resources Areas of Focus: ' Due Diligence Services o Financial and accounting due diligence o Federal, state and local, and international tax due diligence o Business operations due diligence o Valuation/fairness opinion services ' Planning and Transactional Services o Sale or purchase representation o Cash flow, tax impact and financial modeling o Tax efficient structuring for federal, state and international taxes o Capitalization and financing services Experience: ' 10+ years of experience in audit, accounting and transaction advisory services with a Big Four or national public accounting firm ' Demonstrated ability in leading mergers and acquisitions/due diligence assistance engagements involving accounting and tax reporting matters, including performing analyses of quality of assets and earnings, operating results, financial position, cash flows, potential liabilities and risks, and the impact of findings to the client ' Proven ability to identify and evaluate business, industry, financial, accounting and tax risks related to transactions ' Strong current knowledge in U.S. GAAP and financial reporting issues, including mergers and acquisitions ' Excellent written and verbal communication skills ' Licensed CPA or CA ' MBA, a plus ' Able to travel 30-40 percent This position is a Partner-track opportunity - 2 years. *HJ | |
