General duties include:

  • Design products per a givien set of product requirements
  • Document the product design using design review
  • Manage any risk per ISO 14971
  • Test product to verify that the output matches the design inputs
  • Improve designs of existing products
  • Qualify new components
  • Troubleshoot design problems
