Job Title: Senior Industrial Security Specialist I
Job Description:
Senior Industrial Security Specialist, will report to the FSO/Program Security Manager in Falls Church, Virginia. PRIMARY duties will be to ensure compliance with applicable government and company security policies and procedures regarding the protection of classified and company proprietary information. Provides oversight and hands-on responsibilities for all aspects of security (Personnel, Physical, and Information Security). Attends and provides input to staff meeting with Program Management, to include Gate Reviews for current and new business initiatives. Facilitates programs in accordance with customer direction, government security regulations and company security directives. Defines, interprets, and implements security programs, policies, procedures and customer security plans. Establishes and maintains a working relationship with customer security representatives as well as internal Raytheon personnel. Conducts security reviews and self assessments. Investigates and resolves security incidents and violations and provides follow-up/corrective actions. Conducts briefings regarding security policies and procedures as well as SCI (Sensitive Compartmented Information) briefings on a regular basis. Assist in the development and preparation of Security Education and Awareness material.
Required Skills:
Bachelor's degree with at least 4-6 years of relevant work experience in Security, OR, 12+ years of applicable work experience in Security if non-degreed. General knowledge of DNI (Director of National Intelligence) Policies and Directives, specifically Personnel, Physical and Information Security. Hands on experience with completing form # DD254. Extensive knowledge of NISPOM requirements. Strong knowledge with Security classification management manuals. Previous Program Security experience, as well as experience with developing solutions to a variety of complex problems. Must have previous experience with supporting proposals (writing security volumes, providing classification guidance) and support through proposal completion and delivery. Experience presenting to or briefing audiences. Working knowledge of Desktop applications, including Microsoft Office suite. Must be a self starter and work with minimal direct supervision. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to adapt and excel in a demanding, high-visibility fast paced work environment. Ability to make sound decisions, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively. US Citizenship with a current and active Top Secret/SCI clearance is required.
Desired Skills:
Candidate should be proficient in the use of MS Office Applications and experience using relational database programs.
Required Education: Bachelor's degree, or, relevant work experience in Industrial Security may substitute or degree.
