Charleston, WV Job Description : Would you like to join the LabCorp family of professionals dedicated to providing excellence in clinical lab testing? Our Charleston, WV Cytology Center of Excellence is seeking a Cytotechnologist to work full time, first shift.
As a cytotechnologist you will be responsible for screening and evaluating any gynecologic and non-gynecologic specimens sent to the laboratory for the determination of possible malignant or related abnormal conditions.
Typical hours for this position are Monday-Friday 8AM-4:30PM but some flexibility is available. Job Requirements : The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelors degree with certification as a Cytotechnologist and must be state licensed.
Must be ASCP registered or eligible
Certification in screening Surepath, cytyc, and IGP slides preferred.
Must be able to work weekends as needed.
