Business Systems Analyst with Remedy and ITIL experience
Position Description Plans, conducts, and directs the analysis of business problems to be solved with automated systems. Partners with users to identify, evaluate, and develop systems and procedures which are cost effective and meet user requirements. May plan and execute unit, integration, and acceptance testing; and creates specifications for systems to meet business requirements. Designs details of automated systems. May lead cross-functional linked teams to address business or systems issues. Specific tasks include:
§ Develop and maintain service level agreement ( SLA ) documents § Perform ad hoc and iterative technical reviews § Document backup configurations § Document monitoring configurations § Reference external documentation provided by the Service owner, systems Management Groups, and Operational Support Groups § Communicate with the SLA requesters § Complete planning tasks to establish service level components, including drafts of SLAs, monitors, and/or OLAs and/or Back Up Information. Verify accuracy of Service Level documents § Document service level components per customer request and update the definitive sources of record, e.g. MIR3, Remedy, etc. § Assign tasks to System Management Teams to revise monitoring. Verify accuracy of Service Level documents and update as needed, including SLAs, monitors, and/or OLAs and/or Back Up Information. Update -Document Control section to reflect changes.
Minimum Requirements 2+ years’ experience in business analysis, requirements definition and deployment of business requirements to information systems and proficiency in the MS Office suite.
