Registered Nurse Needed for Girling Community Care in Temple, TX. (FFS-RN)



Girling Health Care's Community Care division is looking for a Fee-for-Service RN in the Temple, TX area.

Description


Provide nursing services, treatments, preventive and rehabilitative procedures requiring specialized skills under the direction of the attending physician. Observe signs and symptoms, and report to physician any changes in the client's physical and/or emotional condition. Teach, supervise and counsel the client and other family members regarding the nursing care needs. Plan and organize own weekly and daily schedule. Develop and implement nursing care plans, including revision of these plans when necessary. Ensure all paperwork is completed properly and timely. Work with other community agencies to coordinate services to meet client needs. May make initial assessment visits. Prepare attendant care plans and supervise personal care attendants. May supervise and teach other nursing personnel and assume on-call duties as assigned. Will perform CBA visits. Must be willing to travel.


Qualifications

Free from Medicare Sanctions (required)
Current RN License (required)
Current CPR Certification (required)
Adequate means of transportation to facilitate timely visits (required)
Previous public health or health nursing experience (preferred)
