The Training Consultant is responsible for conducting needs analysis, designing training plans, and developing training materials to meet the organization's learning needs and requirements. Also, the Training Consultant is responsible for conducting assessments and evaluations to ensure effectiveness of learning interventions and recommending/ implementing modifications as necessary. The Training Consultant partners with subject matter experts (SMEs) to develop training content. The Training Consultant partners with the Learning Technologist to develop e-learning courses.
The Training Consultant employs project management principles, performance consulting skills, group facilitation skills, and GCP and Part 11 compliance knowledge to perform job duties effectively.
Responsibilities:
Conduct business analyses, performance analyses, and needs assessments in partnership with business leaders to identify performance and proficiency gaps and to determine the root cause for the gaps.
Design and develop performance solutions that are strategically aligned with i3 business goals, including training curricula and programs.
Develop and implement instructional programs and learning solutions that bridge the gap between current workforce performance/proficiency and future performance/proficiency needed to implement and maintain new and emerging business processes and technologies.
Apply established instructional methodologies and adult learning principles (ADDIE and Human Performance Improvement), to develop learning solutions with real life application that may be delivered live or through technology.
Partner with business unit subject matter experts to design and develop instructional programs.
Identify and develop assessment methods and evaluation plans to promote and analyze transfer and application of newly learned knowledge and skills to the job.
Facilitate the implementation and delivery of instructional programs in partnership with business unit training faculty.
Using established project management methodology, effectively manage the in-take, analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of instructional programs and learning solutions from start to finish for the purpose of increasing workforce performance and proficiency.
Effectively collaborate with business unit leaders, subject matter experts, technology experts, vendors, peers, and other key project contributors to ensure effective implementation of instructional programs and learning solutions.
Use technical software programs, such as Articulate and Captivate, in partnership with the learning technologist, to develop e-learning solutions.
Apply Good Clinical Practices (GCP) and 21 CFR Part 11 Electronic Record/Signature compliance requirements when managing, developing, documenting, and storing instructional programs and events to ensure compliance with FDA, EMEA, and rest of world regulations.
Utilize the learning management system (LMS), in partnership with the LMS Administrator, to communicate, track, and document instructional programs and events.
