Develops physician and physician group provider network yielding a geographically competitive, broad access, stable network that achieves objectives for unit cost performance and trend management, and produces an affordable and predictable product for customers and business partners.
Evaluates and negotiates contracts in compliance with company contract templates, reimbursement structure standards, and other key process controls. Establishes and maintains strong business relationships with Physician and Physician Group providers, and ensures the network composition includes an appropriate distribution of provider specialties. Analyzes and investigates. Provides explanations and interpretations within area of expertise.

Qualifications
Qualifications:
· Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
· 2 - 3 years of experience working in a managed healthcare environment
· 2 - 3 years of managed healthcare provider contracting experience
· Knowledge of commercial and Medicare reimbursement methodologies
· Some knowledge of claims processing/resolution is a plus
· Proficient use of MS Excel and MS Word
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
