General Summary: Pharmacy manager for Long Term pharmacy services providing care to geriatric and pediatric patients. Home Services/LTC pharmacy provides services to patients in home, outpatient and long-term care settings. Referrals come from Providence institutions, and other hospitals, payers and physicians in the states of Oregon and Southwest Washington. Responsible for direct supervision of pharmacists and technicians for purposes of personnel evaluations, education, and workflow. The LTC Pharmacy Manager has responsibility for daily oversight of the LTC pharmacy services of Providence Home Services including performance and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Reports to the Director of Home Services/Pharmacy.
Required: Current license to practice pharmacy in the State of Oregon Three years of LTC experience or equivalent.
Preferred: Residency or advanced degree. One year of management experience. Knowledge and experience in health care delivery systems in LTC.
