Sales Associate

JOB PURPOSE:

Join the Kevin Lowber Insurance Agency, Inc team to sell and market State Farm products and services and provide quality service to all clients.

PREREQUISTES:

Experience and Knowledge

  1. Experience in sales, marketing and customer service is highly desirable.
  2. Experience with contemporary computer software desirable.
  3. Knowledge of personal lines of insurance products is highly desirable.
  4. Knowledge of financial products and services is highly desirable.
  5. Bi-lingual English/Spanish or English/Vietnamese preferred

Skills and Abilities:

  1. Ability to learn and apply product, industry and market knowledge to make professional recommendations to prospects and policyholders and to satisfy insurance licensing requirements.
  2. Ability to influence others.
  3. Ability to create professional business relationships with prospects and policyholders.
  4. Strong listening, oral and written communications skills.
  5. Ability to take initiative and act effectively in various circumstances without directions.
  6. Self-confidence/perseverance/strong work ethic.
  7. Goal oriented. Highly motivated and resourceful to achieve results.
  8. Proven track record of trustworthiness, dependability and ethical behavior.
  9. Proven problem solving ability. Apply and balance conceptual and analytical thinking by breaking down complex problems, evaluating alternative sources of action and their likely outcomes and selecting the best alternative.

Job Related Training Courses and Programs

  1. Must successfully complete all company, state and federal licensing requirements to sell and service designated State Farm products.
  2. Must continue to be licensed in good standing as required by company, state and federal guidelines.
