Reports to: VP Gen Mgr.
Job duties/Summary:
  • Build and manage team of manufacturers reps
  • Sell to HVAC wholesalers and distributors.
  • Supervises Applications Engineers & Sales Engineers.
  • Manage budget for product line.

Major duties:
• visit key customers and or distributors to maximize sales
• benchmark the competition.
• Manage a group of 15 to 20 Manufacturer’s rep organizations.
• Propose new products for development.
• Propose new marketing opportunities.
• Give technical presentations to Manufacturers reps and engineers.


Skills needed:
1. Knowledge of the best Manufacturer’s rep organizations who do the best job at selling to all the wholesale HVAC distributors.
2. Experience in recruiting, training, and managing Rep organizations.
3. Ability to identify new market trends and help to develop new products for marketplace.
4. Ability to travel 35%.
5. Key: able project positive attitude and instill that attitude in the reps.
6. Able to develop new sales promotional programs to get products into the field.

Education requirements: Prefers Technical degree, but open to others.
Knockouts: Will not hire “glass is half empty” person, wants “glass is half full mentality.
