SAP Travel Management Trainer/Consultant: Learn2Perform

Job Description

Learn2Perform has an ongoing effort to develop a team of product training specialist. We are looking for experienced SAP Travel Management Trainers/Consultants with subject matter expertise and implementation experience as a Functional Consultant to develop and deliver product training to our clients. We are looking for individuals with strong technical backgrounds and the ability to effectively communicate their knowledge to others in a structured learning event.

This is a wonderful opportunity for a SAP Travel Management Functional Consultant who is looking to build their consulting practice by exposing their skills and product knowledge as a product training specialist.

Summary of Main Responsibilities

• The SAP Travel Management Trainer/Consultant will have SME status and product training experience for any of (but not limited to) the following SAP modules or areas below:
  • FI and HR including PM (Personnel Management), Time Management, Travel Management and Payroll Document transactions occurring within the specific modules.
• Researches, develops, designs, implements and supports state-of-the-art instructor led, on-line and self-study training to support employee development. Including technical training in area of expertise.
• Facilitates and/or leads instructor led training courses both virtually and onsite.
• Ensures consistency of design and implementation of all internally created training programs/materials.
• Provides advice and consultation in the role of SME in areas of expertise.
• Partners with Learn2Perform to develop custom training solutions for clients, i.e. develop style guides, on-line publishing standards and templates.

Skills and Attributes Required

Applicants must at least meet the following requirements:

• SAP functional skills within SAP area of expertise
• Interface configuration
• Working with the ESS and backend transactions for travel planning
• Training design, development, and delivery skills
• Strong documentation, organizational and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail
• Strong record of positive relationships with clients, suppliers, vendors & extended work teams
• Proven track record delivering SAP training courses with high degree of professionalism.
• Command of the English language both verbal and written

Education Needed

• Bachelor's degree, with minimum of 5 years of relevant IT training experience.

Job Experience

• 2+ years of experience in SAP training
• 5+ years of SAP Travel Management implementation and configuration experience as functional or technical consultant
• Experience in all phases of training development
• Travel Management Migration & /or upgrade
• Experience in the development of ILT and web-based training courses
• Experience in training facilitation and instruction
• Experience with Adobe Captivate, uPerform, OnDemand or other SCORM authoring or simulation tools
• Experience with learning management systems
• Experience with HTML coding (preferred)

• Learn2Perform consultants work from their homes, which allow our consultants the freedom to live anywhere in North America. Our consulting model is a blend of virtual and on-site work depending on the needs of the client.
