Assistant Manager

Responsibilities:

Assist the Store Manager in all aspects of the store operation including selling, employee management, customer relations, stock, visual merchandising, asset protection and training. In the absence of the Store Manager, the Assistant Manager will assume all management responsibilities and duties. The Assistant Manager is accountable to partner with Store Manager, Manager Trainer, and District Manager to complete all required training on a timely basis. Participates in structured management training program, preparing the Assistant Manager for the responsibilities of Store Manager. Training time varies depending on previous experience. Subject to transfer to other store locations throughout training and as deemed necessary by the company.

Job Requirements:

• Excellent Customer Service Skills
• Self Starter
• Leadership skills
• Good organizational and communication skills
• Required to stand during scheduled hours. Hours will include weekends, evenings and holidays.(Full-time: minimum 40-45 hours per week, 8-12 hours per day.)
• Kneeling, stooping, climbing ladders, using stairs, reaching, pulling and lifting weights of usually 5-30 pounds. Working rapidly, especially during peak sales periods to ensure all Customers are being serviced properly and Store Operations are being completed in a timely manner.
• Ability to read, speak, hear, write and conduct business related mathematics.
