Our Advisory Practice is seeking a Manager to join our growing practice in delivering quality consulting services to our Private Equity clients in the New York market. In this position, you will be responsible for managing information technology and operational due diligence assignments as well as M&A performance improvement projects (Synergy and cost savings analysis, divestiture/separation planning, Merger Integration projects, restructuring) and other consulting projects at key Private Equity clients, as well as their portfolio companies.

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration preferred; MBA or MS/MA in related field a plus. Combination of Industry and Consulting experience is desirable.

Job Requirement Essential
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Experience (7+ years) providing consulting services to various industry sectors (e.g., Industrial Products, Retail/Consumer Products, Aero Space/Defense, Technology). You also should have a deep knowledge of the Private Equity sector and also leading practices in the various industry sectors. In addition, you should be able to demonstrate strong value add and benefit delivery to clients. The ideal candidate will have experience with Tier-One Consulting firms or Big Four, with extensive experience in helping clients with M&A deals, integration projects and other M&A service offerings.
You must bring hands-on consulting experience in the areas of operational process redesign and reengineering, cost reduction, revenue enhancement, customer relationship management, operational simplification initiatives, change management, organizational redesign and/or benchmarking. You should be able to manage PwC and client teams in medium- and large-scale consulting engagements to assist clients in implementing their business strategies. Specific skill sets include the ability to identify, obtain and process critical data and challenge the "status quo" through unique and innovative thought leadership. You must be able to develop a business vision and lead implementation efforts. Extensive project management experience is also required, including project staffing, budgeting, planning, and status updating and reporting.

The Candidate must have impressive demeanor, a strong teaming and collaborative approach, and excellent presentation skills including both strong verbal and written capabilities. Communication skills are critical, including the ability to organize and present thoughts clearly and concisely into well constructed, easy to understand and meaningful reports, proposals, presentations and other communications.

You should be self-motivated, energetic, confident, thoughtful and respectful. You should be capable of independent work efforts, as well as leading and working effectively within PwC and client teams (lead/support teams of two to three staff and a cross-line of service team of up to twenty to thirty resources).
